This Friday is a non-student day at all schools in the Edmonds School District, but members of the Mountlake Terrace Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) hope many in the community will stop by anyway with a donation to Goodwill.

A Goodwill Industries truck will be stationed in the parking lot of MLT Elementary from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, accepting donations of gently-used clothing, furniture and other items. If the truck is filled by the end of the day, Goodwill will make a donation to the school’s parent/teacher group.

“Please bring your reusable donations to the school parking lot,” urged MLT Elementary Office Manager Cathy Fiorillo. “It is a great time to do some spring cleaning to support the PTO!”
