The Mountlake Terrace City Council unanimously passed a proclamation of support Thursday night for the Mountlake Terrace Farmers Market that begins its third season of operation on Friday, June 1.
The market opens at 1:30 p.m. at 23208-56th Ave. W. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Expected to be on hand are Mayor Jerry Smith, Councilmember Seaun Richards, Mountlake Terrace Business Association President Don Andrews, and other city dignitaries. City Clerk Virginia Olsen is scheduled to read the newly-passed proclamation of support.
The market is scheduled to operate from 1:30-6:30 p.m. each Friday until Sept. 28.
