Organizers of the annual Mountlake Terrace 5K Fun Run/Walk, which began at Mountlake Terrace High School on Saturday, say the event was a success:
“Participants continue to love the course and were excited about the abundance of raffle prizes available this year,” Organizer Jen Woodman said. “The weather was great and everyone seemed to have a fun time.”
The event, organized by the Cedar Way PTO, benefits all public elementary schools in Mountlake Terrace. As of Monday morning, organizers are still waiting to find out exactly how much money was raised.
