
Brendan Franz came in first overall in Mountlake Terrace 5 K fun run fundraiser sponsored by the Cedar Way PTO Saturday.
Running in the 17 and older adult catgory, Fraser recorded an official time of 16:47 for the 5K course, which started and ended at Mountlake Terrace High School and was part of the annual Tour de Terrace festivities. In second place overall, with a time of 17:52, was Jack Pearce, 14, who won the 11-16 boys age category.
The first-place women’s finisher was Judy Johnston, who finished in 21:59. McKenna Hunt was the first-place finisher for the 11-16 girls age group.
Taking first place in the 6-10 boys age group was Owen Moreland, with a time of 28:09; and in the 6-10 girls age group, Sierra Fisher, 31:35.

According race organizer Molly Luna, the race drew 180 registrants and 172 actual runners.
