Two Men Rob Mountlake Terrace Home at Gun Point

The Herald reports this morning about an armed robbery at a Mountlake Terrace home on Friday night. Ive confirmed this with the MLT PD and also added that the robbery took place in the 22500 block of 48th Ave W.

From the Herald:

Police are searching for two men who broke into a home Friday night and held two people at gunpoint.

No one was injured in the home invasion robbery. The victims reported that the suspects stole prescription pain medication, a large flat screen television and a purse, Mountlake Terrace police Cmdr. Doug Hansen said.

A man and his girlfriend first heard a knock at the door around 10:40 p.m. The man heard someone ask for “Josh.” He yelled back through the closed door that no one by that name lived there. The suspects then kicked in the door.

One man held a large revolver and a second suspect was armed with knife, Hansen said.

The suspects demanded that the man turn over his prescription pain medication. They threatened to kill the victims if they didn’t comply, Hansen said. The man handed over the medication and then the suspects ransacked the house.

They drove off in a large sport utility vehicle.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 425-670-8260.

  1. The victims were lucky they didn’t get shot, killed or raped, Preparing for a home invasion should be on everyones list of things to watch out for now a days. My shotgun would have been my answer to that knock on the door. I wonder if the perps knew the victims since they asked for his pain medication?
