Meetings set for June 18 to discuss housing development near 212th Street Southwest

Two meetings to discuss a proposed 270-unit multiple-household development near 212th Street Southwest and 44th Avenue West will be held on Tuesday, June 18, at the Embassy Suites, 20610-44th Ave. W. in Lynnwood. The meetings are scheduled at 1 and 7 p.m. and open to the public.

DevCo Inc. is hosting the two meetings to discuss their proposed development on a site north of 212th Street Southwest and just east of the Albertson’s shopping center. The site is in unincorporated Snohomish County but within the City of Lynnwood’s designated urban growth area. It abuts Scriber Creek wetlands and a City of Mountlake Terrace’s pump station.

Representatives from the City of Mountlake Terrace Community and Economic Development and Public Works Departments will be attending the 1p.m. meeting to learn what impacts the proposed development make have on the city.
