Man assaulted in Veterans Memorial Park

mltnewsA 53-year-old Brier man was assaulted by two men while walking up the trail in Veterans Memorial Park on Jan. 3.

At around 5:30 p.m., the man came upon two males and two females. The two males attacked the victim causing cuts to his head. The victim was hit with fists or other hard objects, and lost consciousness.

The victim was transported to Harborview for medical treatment. The only description of the suspects are a possible Native American male about 5-foot-8 to 5-9. The other male was possibly white and about 6-0 tall and skinny. The victim could not describe the suspects anymore in depth, and did not see the females well enough to describe them. The trail was walked and the area searched but no one was located.
