On May 2, 2016, at approximately 9:20 a.m., a 17—year-old female Mountlake Terrace High School student was approached twice by an adult male driving a black Mazda vehicle. The male, described as having an Hispanic accent, yelled at her and motioned her over to his vehicle while she was walking in the area of 218th Street Southwest and 44th Avenue West.
The vehicle was last seen in the area of 212th Street Southwest and 44th Avenue West. The investigation is ongoing. The City of Mountlake Terrace Police Department is working closely with the Edmonds School District to inform students and parents.
