We’re happy to report that Halle has been found — “in good shape, although tired, hungry and sore,” Pat O’Hara said.

An MLT family is heartbroken after the disappearance of their new family dog Friday night.

Halle is an Australian shepherd with black, white and brown markings, wearing a tan collar but no tag.  Since the family just received her, she has not yet been fixed or microchipped.

“While putting her new bed and food in the house, she bolted past us and through our front door,” Pat O’Hara said.

“Even though we were only with her for a few hours, she is like family,” he added.

Halle’s family lives in the 5800 block of 225th Street Southwest. She has not been seen since early Saturday morning, and that was at approximately 236th and 50th.
