Three residents of Mountlake Terrace and Brier will be part of the Northwest Girlchoir’s final concert of the season, to be held Saturday, June 22, at the Meany Hall Theatre on the campus of the University of Washington. The concert is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m; tickets are $18 for adults, $8 for students and seniors.
Mountlake Terrace resident Andrew Seifert is the lead accompanist for the Northwest Girlchoir; Celia Shinn of Mountlake Terrace and Ellie Hanson of Brier are members of the organizations’ third-through-sixth grader Fresca choir.
The Northwest Girlchoir is comprised of 250 singers ages 6-18 that together form five auditioned choirs, Fresca, Amabile, Vivace, Amore and Ensemble, and one preparatory choir. All the choirs will be performing on Saturday separately and combined.
Four decades of Northwest Girlchoir alumnae are expected to join the current choristers during part of the program.
