(Possible) Live Stream of Tonight’s I-1098 Forum

We are working on possibly live streaming video for the Initiative 1098 Civic Engagement Forum tonight featuring Bill Gates, Sr. and Slade Gorton.

For those of you who can’t attend tonight’s Civic Engagement Forum on Initiative 1098, you may be able to view it live via MLTnews.com and MyEdmondsNews.com. We’re collaborating with Edmonds Community College to obtain Internet access in the Black Box Theatre, but won’t know whether the live stream works until about an hour before the forum. Come back to MLTnews.com or check in with us on Twitter or Facebook to find out if the video will be streaming.

The event is supposed to start at 7pm tonight, October 7.

If it is working, you will be able to view it at MLTnews.com/live.

  1. Note that when my question about why if income taxes are bad for business did Boeing move it’s headquarters to Illinois (which has a progressive state income tax) the topic turned to labor unions driving up costs and Boeing jobs being relocated to South Carolina where labor costs were lower.

The fact of the matter is the folks in that that top 1% bracket are the ones that volunteered to move to Illinois where they knew they were going to have to pay a progressive state income tax.
