New LIFT class begins at the Recreation Pavilion September 7

This fall the Recreation Pavilion is introducing the LIFT class to their water fitness program. LIFT stands for Low-Intensity Fitness Training and will take the place of the Senior Fitness classes beginning September 7th.

While LIFT will follow the same basic structure as Senior Fitness, they want to encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to try out this class. LIFT will focus on low-impact cardio-vascular and toning work at a medium pace. This class is perfect for seniors, people with mobility issues, women who are pregnant, or anyone looking to start up a fitness routine. The enthusiastic and motivated instructors will tailor exercises to individuals’ needs.

As with any exercise program, you are  encouraged to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about beginning a work out regimen. LIFT is offered five days a week.

LIFT classes meet:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 10:30-11:30 am

Tuesday/Thursday from 10:45-11:45 am
