Learn more about county buildable lands report at workshop Monday

The City of Mountlake Terrace is hosting a public workshop to share the Snohomish County Tomorrow draft 2012 Buildable Lands Report, a review of population and employment growth, that also identifies the capacity for future growth in the area. The workshop is scheduled for 6:30-7 p.m. on Monday, March 11, in the Interim Mountlake Terrace Council Chambers, 6100-219th St. S.W., Suite 220.

A draft report shows that Mountlake Terrace and other Snohomish County cities have been gaining in population and employment, but also have adequate capacity to handle expected future growth through 2025.

The public workshop will include maps from the draft Buildable Lands Report that attendees can view.

Snohomish County Tomorrow is a public forum consisting of representatives from Snohomish County government, various city governments in Snohomish County, and officials from the Tulalip Tribes.
