The Mountlake Terrace girls basketball team used a big fourth quarter comeback Friday night to shoot down the first-place Shorewood T-Birds, 60-55, at Mountlake Terrace High School.
The Hawks were led by the 23 points of Samantha Romanowski; Maddie Kristjanson added 11 for Terrace. Shorewood’s Masha Shtikel led the T-Birds in scoring with 17, while teammate Lily Gustafson had 13.
Terrace improved its record to 4-7 in Wesco league play, 7-11 overall, and the team has won three of its last four games.
