The Lady Hawks played Lynnwood Saturday night in the final of 6 games in the annual PPP competition between the two schools to bring in canned food for local food banks.
Lynnwood came out strong early while Terrace struggled to control the ball. The Hawks finished the first half down 45-11. Terrace tied Lynnwood in the 3rd quarter, but in the end, they were unable to gain any ground on the Royals losing by a final score of 80-35. MLT was led in scoring by sophomore Taylor Smith who had 10 points, freshman Maddy Kristjanson added 7 points and 5 rebounds, also senior Mary Boxley had 6 points and 8 rebounds.
Terrace will visit Sedro Wooley on Wednesday and host Shorewood on Friday this week.
