Kristen Proctor exhibit opens at MLT Library Aug. 1

The Mountlake Terrace Arts Advisory Commission presents the Kristen Proctor exhibit at the Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 58th Ave. W. The exhibit features paintings and drawings by local artist Kristen Proctor.

Mountlake Terrace resident Kristen Proctor developed her passion for drawing and painting at an early age. She enjoyed making homemade greeting cards for family and friends and never turned down an art class at school. A graduate of Western Washington University, Proctor works as a graphic designer and illustrator.

In her spare time, she enjoys leisurely hikes, running, traveling with her husband Nick and entertaining their dog, Hurley.

The Mountlake Terrace Arts Advisory Commission oversees the library exhibits as part of its mission to promote cultural events in the community. The show runs through Aug. 31 at the Mountlake Terrace Library, Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m.
