The City of Mountlake Terrace invites the public to attend National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Evergreen Playfield.

There will be magic, music, water walking, bouncy house, free food and more from 6-9 p.m. This year’s event features The Magic of Craig Martin, DJ RT who will emcee and play tunes, a fabulous caricature artist and a K-9 dog demonstration.

The free family event combines entertainment, food and community involvement for a fun-filled evening. Citizens can meet city officials, learn about local businesses and service organizations and celebrate with neighbors.

Other activities include dance performances, martial arts demonstration, public safety vehicle tours, life-sized foosball game, and the very popular water walking balls.

Mountlake Terrace’s National Night Out event takes place due to donations from our businesses and sponsors as well as volunteers and participants from local agencies and organizations.

The Mountlake Terrace National Night Out event has been recognized by the National Association of Town Watch as a National Award Winner for its outstanding participation for several years. Approximately 1,000 people attended last year’s event.

The Evergreen Playfield is located at 22205 56th Avenue West.
