Mountlake Terrace’s Matt Jenson shot a five-over-par 77, good for a second place tie in the individual competition, to lead the Hawks to a fourth place team finish at the Wesco 3A Boys Golf Championship at Kayak Point Golf Course on Monday.

Jenson tied with Shorecrest’s Trent Jones and Stanwood’s duo of Halen Davis and Chase Anderson on Monday behind the championship’s medalist, Mac Kerfoot of Oak Harbor. Kerfoot shot a three-over-par 75 to win the individual title. The Stanwood Spartans won the team championship with a combined stroke total of 403, eleven strokes better than second place Meadowdale.
