Natalie Covate loves to tell stories. And now, she wants to tell yours, as the new editor of MLTnews.
Covate’s name may look familiar. She first wrote for the three My Neighborhood News Network websites — Lynnwood Today, MLTnews and My Edmonds News — shortly after moving to the area two-and-a-half years ago.
She went on to work for other local news media. Now, she’s coming back to MLTnews after working as a news writer and producer for KIRO 7.
Covate moved to South Snohomish County after earning her master’s degree in journalism from Boston University. While there, she covered major breaking news events, including winter storm Nemo and the Boston Marathon bombings.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, walking her dog and hiking with her fiancé.
