Hugill appointed interim Mountlake Terrace City Manager

Assistant City Manager Scott Hugill has been appointed as the Interim City Manager by the Mountlake Terrace City Council.

Hugill took the helm on Sept. 11 as the City Council voted to accept the resignation of City Manager Arlene Fisher.

Hugill had two previous stints as Interim City Manager in his 11-year career with the City of Mountlake Terrace. Hugill has served as the Assistant City Manager and Administrative Services Director for the City of Mountlake Terrace and prior to that, Hugill was the City Administrator for the City of Leavenworth.

He will be formally sworn into his new position at Monday’s City Council meeting. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace Interim City Hall, 6100 219th St. SW., Suite 220, second floor.
