Homestreet Bank to host open house Thursday

HomestreetAfter a recent remodel, HomeStreet Bank is hosting an open house at the Mountlake Terrace bank branch and home loan center at 22001-66th Ave. W. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13, from 4-7 p.m. The open house will include a grand-opening ribbon cutting ceremony and live music from classical guitarist Enrique Henao and the Mountlake Terrace High School Jazz Quartet. Appetizers and beverages will be served by Shooby Doo Catering, and guest can jump in and enjoy a fun photo booth.

As part of the celebration, HomeStreet’s CEO Mark Mason will be presenting contributions of $5,000 each to two local non-profit organizations, Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County and Volunteers of American/Western Washington. The Mountlake Terrace bank branch manager Marilla Sargeant is a board member of the local Volunteers of America, while Dexter Wellington, the mortgage center manager is joining the Family Selection Committee of Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County. Sargeant has been the Mountlake Terrace bank branch manager for HomeStreet since 2002, while Wellington has managed the mortgage center since 2012.
