Holly House, which each December provides holiday gifts and every-day essentials to 2,000 low-income children in 15 schools across the Edmonds School District, is holding its first-ever fundraiser – “Be a Holly House Hero” – this Tuesday, May 27 in Lynnwood.
The event will run from 7-9 p.m. at the Madison Alderwood Park Apartments Clubhouse, 18031 36th Ave. W., and will feature appetizers, wine and dessert. Admission is free, said Holly House Executive Director Pam Martinez.
“You will meet a couple of parents as they share what Holly House has meant to them and their families,” Martinez said. “You will meet the core team and Board of Directors who help make this amazing program work. We will be sharing a Power Point about Holly House. We also have some wonderful gift cards donated from local business that we will be raffling for free.”
