Holiday bazaar season kicks off on Saturday at Mountlake Terrace High School

The holidays are soon approaching, and a number of local bazaars are scheduled to help prepare you for the season.

The annual Mountlake Terrace High School PTSA Holiday Bazaar is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the high school, 21801 44th Avenue West. More than 70 vendors from charitable organizations, area businesses, local crafters and high school student groups will be on-site selling crafts, specialty gifts, baked goods and unique holiday merchandise.

The St. Pius X Ladies Guild is hosting a Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 8, 10 a.m. — 7 p.m., and Nov. 9, 10 a.m. — 3:p.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Mountlake Terrace, 22301 58th Avenue West. The event will include a bake sale, a used book sale, raffles and a café.

Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 5507-236th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace, will be conducting their Family Holiday Bazaar on Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gifts, crafts and more will be available for purchase at the event.

The Mountlake Terrace Senior Center hosts its Holiday Festival By the Lake on Saturday, Nov. 22. The arts and crafts fair will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There also will be food, music, Santa photos along with 40 booths in three rooms. A community breakfast ($5) will be served in the Lakeside Lunchbox Cafe from 8-10 a.m. Snacks, soup and warm drinks will available all day.
