Heavy Rain Causes Flooding in MLT

Meteorologists report that we’ve had well over 2 inches of rain the past 24 hours and some area, like the Ballinger Golf Course, haven’t faired so well.

  1. The flooding at the Boulder Apartments on 220th was MUCH worse right before I got there for some photos, with water actually gurgling back up from the drain just inside the entrance. The truck above actually had water above the center point of the wheel.

    The city though was quick to respond and clear some clogged drains and get the water flowing, so by the time I arrived, the water had receded greatly. WTG MLT!

  2. Our rain gauge measured almost 2.5 inches (call it 2.4) between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. And there was another 1/4 in it this morning (Monday).
