The Shorewood T-Birds girls tennis team came to Mountlake Terrace High School on Tuesday sporting an undefeated record in Wesco League play, 12-1 overall; but the Mountlake Terrace Hawks pushed the visitors to the brink, coming just one point from defeating the T-Birds, 4-3.

Terrace honored the seniors on the team at their final home match of the 2014 season, Madison Haney, Aysha Raza, Brittany Kinsella, Angela Westbrook and Arani Yungendyion.

The Hawks final match of the regular season is slated for Wednesday, May 7, against Shorecrest. The match-up will take place at Kellogg Middle School in Shoreline beginning at 3:30 p.m.
