MTHSHawks logoMountlake Terrace senior Dominic DeMiero returned to the Hawk lineup Friday following a hand injury last week and looked as sharp as ever, giving up just one earned run in six innings pitched. Terrace rode the pitching performance and plenty of early run support to grab a 9-4 win over visiting Shorecrest in Wesco League 3A baseball action.

The Lady Hawks weren’t as fortunate on the diamond Friday as Terrace fell to Wesco 3A North leader Marysville-Pilchuck 3-2. The MTHS boys soccer team had no better luck against Shorewood, losing to the T-Birds 2-0.
