Hawks soccer loses 4-1 to Marysville-Getchell


Hawks logo-2The Mountlake Terrace boys soccer team lost their fourth match in a row Tuesday, doing down to Marysville Getchell 4-1 at Lynnwood High School.

After the Chargers opened the scoring with a goal by Tanner Shauger in the 14th minute, Terrace got even on an unassisted goal by senior Taylor Howell at the 19 minute mark. But it was all Marysville Getchell after that, with three unanswered goals the rest of the way.

The Hawks’ record dropped to 1-7 in Wesco league play, 2-8-1 overall, while the Chargers evened their league record at 4-4, 4-7 overall.

The Hawks head north on Friday, Apr. 19 for a 7 p.m. match-up with the 3-6-2 Marysville Pilchuck Tomahawks.
