After their big 32-point win over Oak Harbor last Saturday, the Mountlake Terrace Hawks have climbed to the number 5 position in The Seattle Times 3A state boys basketball rankings. It is the highest position the Hawks have had in the state rankings this season.

The Associated Press currently ranks Mountlake Terrace number 6 in their state poll.

The Hawks take on 7th-ranked Stanwood for the Northwest District 1 championship on Saturday, Feb. 16, at Jackson High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. The game can be seen live on the Hawks Live Sports Network on MLTnews.com starting at 7:45 p.m.
