The Terrace girls played the Everett Seagulls in the “Pit” Wednesday night. Terrace had their best half of offensive basketball this year in the first half, leading the Gulls 34-33 at the half while going 15-24 from the field. But Terrace gave up too many offensive rebounds, 22 for the game, as well as layups for easy baskets. Terrace fell behind in the third and never recovered, going only 4 for 23 from the field in the second half and being outscored 32-13. The Hawks lost 65-47Mindy James once again led the Hawks with 11 points, Mary Boxley with 9 and both Maddy Kristjanson and Taylor Smith scored 8.
