Hawkeye advisor Vince DeMiero is proud of his students and grateful for the community support that allowed them to get this far.

“I fully realize that none of these accomplishments is possible without the kind of support that exists in this learning community for student media and scholastic journalism,” DeMiero wrote in an email announcing the awards to school staff members. “Thanks to each of you, our wonderful administrators, the district (Career and Technical Education) staff and all who support these students and our programs.”
