A red-tailed hawk was rescued by a trooper Saturday evening after it fell from its nest over I-405 in Lynnwood.

The baby hawk was taken to Progressive Animal Welfare Society of Washington (PAWS) to be evaluated and cared for. The bird got to ride in the front seat the whole way there.

The baby hawk is expected to recover.
