Savory Spice Shop will be celebrating its grand opening in the lifestyle section of Alderwood Mall from Friday, Oct. 17 through Sunday Oct. 19.

“We’re so excited to have opened in Lynnwood and to celebrate with our customers with a weekend of spices, food and fun. We love meeting and exchanging ideas with seasoned chefs and fledgling cooks, alike and are thrilled when someone shares how they are using our products.” said Alisa Inouye, owner of Savory Spice & Co. Alderwood Mall. “Stop by and tempt your palate with recipe tastings and to pick up your free spice samples to try at home as well to enter the drawings for free merchandise.”

The festivities will begin on Friday morning with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony with the Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Nicola Smith. Each day of the celebration will feature a different tasting theme, with lots of Savory Spice recipes as well as locally produced items on hand for tasting.

Friday, Oct. 17: Treats not Tricks: Fall themed treats & snacks
Saturday, Oct. 18: One Recipe, Multiple Ways: Changing spices in a basic recipe to make a totally different dish
Sunday, Oct. 19: Game Day: Food & drinks to please a rowdy crowd

Located across from American Girl in the open air section of Alderwood Mall, Savory Spice & Co. offers over 400 freshly ground herbs and spices, and over 160 handcrafted seasonings.
