Edmonds police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who allegedly robbed the Banner Bank on 212th Street Southwest in Edmonds around 11:15 Thursday morning.

According to Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Shane Hawley, police units are in the area of the bank, located at 7009 212th St. S.W., looking for the suspect, described as a black male in his 30s. He was wearing a blue, puffy winter coat, dark blue pants and a green beanie style hat.

The suspect passed a note and implied he had a weapon. Anyone with further details should call 9-1-1.
