Next month, Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood will be hosting an organ concert to celebrate Johann Sebastian Bach’s birthday.
Organist Rhonda Sider Edgington will perform Bach’s works on Trinity Lutheran Church’s German-style organ.
The concert is on Sunday, March 13 at 7 p.m. A $15 suggested donation is requested for adults. The donation for seniors and students is recommended at $10 or as able.
Edgington specializes in the repertoire and organs of 17th century Germany, such as those performed by Bach. She spent seven years studying as a Fulbright scholar, working and concertizing in Germany.
Edgington is now the organist and assistant music director at Hope Church, a staff accompanist at Hope College and seminary organist at Western Seminary in Holland, Michigan.
The concert on March 13 will be her first in the Seattle area.
Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 6215 196th St. SW. in Lynnwood.
