The Lynnwood Fire Department was called to put out a brush fire at Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood at around 8:33 p.m. on Thursday.

Witnesses told authorities that fireworks caused the fire. The Lynnwood Police Department is investigating. Fireworks are prohibited in Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds.
