Happening nearby: Lane closures starting next week for 212th waterline replacement

Lynnwood-logo-2Lynnwood drivers should expect delays starting next week on 212th Street Southwest as construction crews continue work on the 212th Street waterline replacement project.

212th Street Southwest is expected to have one lane open to traffic between 52nd Avenue West and 63rd Avenue West between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. All lanes will be open during off-construction hours.

We had previously reported lane closures would begin March 3 based on the project’s estimate, but an update from Project manager Ngan Ha Yang shows lane closures are now expected to begin March 7. They will still continue until about May 15.

Then, from May 16 until May 31, 212th Street Southwest will be completely closed between 52nd Avenue West and 60th Avenue West. The road will re-open again the first week of June.
