labyrinthIn honor of the passing of David Bowie, the historic Edmonds Theater at 415 Main St. is hosting a free showing of the 1986 fairy tale classic “Labyrinth” on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. David Bowie, a talented English singer, songwriter, actor, and producer, passed away on January 10, 2016. News sources report that the 69 year old David Bowie passed away two days following the release of his final album Blackstar.

Labyrinth is a family adventure/fantasy movie directed by Jim Henson and starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. The movie follows the plight of Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) as she journeys to a magical land ruled by the Goblin King, Jareth (David Bowie), to rescue her baby brother.

Admission to the movie is free and seating is first come, first served. Arrive early to secure a seat and participate in trivia, prizes, and other activities. More information about this event is provided on the Edmonds Theater Facebook page.
