Edmonds Heights K-12 has chosen “The Jungle Book Kids” to open the New Year.

“The Jungle Book Kids” story is based on the story of Mowgli, a little boy on the run from Shere Khan, a ferocious tiger who has banished the boy from the jungle. In his flight Mowgli is aided by Bagheera, a panther. Along the way, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants, and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin’ musical rhythms of the jungle. After surviving a dangerous encounter with a band of monkeys led by King Louie, Mowgli and Bagheera are forced to run for their lives. Shere Khan returns, leading our protagonists to rally their follow jungle creatures into battle and restore peace to the jungle.

The production features a cast of 38 talented actors, grades 3-7.

“The Jungle Book Kids” is directed by Shileah Corey. The choreography is a collaborative effort of Corey and Indeah Thomaier Harris.

Tickets are $5 at the door of the theatre. More information is available at www.EHshows.com.
