Edmonds Community College will be co-hosting an Inventors Workshop on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The event is free to all who register, and includes morning coffee/fruit and lunch.
Inventors, artist, entrepreneurs and anyone else from the community are invited to attend. Key industry specialist will speak on:
— The legal aspects, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights and forms of business
— The marketing of a product or service
— The funding of the product or service
— Design, prototyping and manufacturing of a product
All those attending will receive a tour of Edmonds CC’s 11,000-square-foot Additive Manufacturing lab (includes 3D printers/laser cutter/full shop).
The event will be at Monroe Hall, Room 106, just north of the main campus off 196th Street Southwest near 68th Avenue West.
