The Edmonds Community College Law Association Club is presenting a movie fundraiser and screening of “The Maze Runner” at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 4 in the Black Box Theatre (Mukilteo Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W.)
The film screening will raise funds to benefit the Campaign for Equal Justice which helps low-income people with legal issues to participate effectively in the justice system.
Based upon the best-selling novel by James Dashner, the story follows a boy named Thomas, who wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys. He has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape.
