My Neighborhood News has confirmed from owner Paul Rosser that the Lynnwood Chick-fil-A has scheduled its grand opening for May 7.
The Lynnwood location is one of three new locations in the Pacific Northwest, including Bellevue and Tacoma. The Bellevue restaurant opened Thursday and Tacoma is scheduled for April 16. The Lynnwood restaurant is located at 3026 196th St. SW., next to Lowe’s.
The new restaurants are three of more than 100 new restaurants the chain plans to open across the country in 2015. Chick-fil-A is the second largest quick service chicken restaurant chain in the United States with more than 1,900 units in 41 states.

I’m disappointed that an anti-gay business would open up here in the northwest. We are better than that! I hope that others will join me in avoiding this place of business that is against marriage equality for all. We here in Washington have decided that marriage is for everyone.
