Edmonds Police warns neighbors to keep valuables at home and lock their cars after more than 30 car prowls on Highway 99 in recent weeks.
Edmonds Police tweeted that car prowl activity appears to be centered around the 23200 block to the 23800 block of Highway 99, mostly overnight. They are focusing patrols in that area.
Investigators say they are looking for one person of interest.
In the meantime, there are steps neighbors can take to keep their belongings safe.
“Keep your car doors locked and valuables inside your house,” Edmonds Police tweeted Thursday morning. “Call 911 to report suspicious people in the area.”
