CityCenter Apartments is a 347-unit affordable housing project located across from the Lynnwood Convention Center. The site is located at the intersection of 196th Street SW and 37th Avenue West, adjacent to the I-5 south on-ramp (signed as 36th Ave W). This intersection has been designated a “Community Gateway” by the City of Lynnwood and as such there are certain design requirements for the intersection corner and the building. In addition to architectural, hardscape and landscape features, the developer has chosen to allocate funds for the creation and installation of public art at the Gateway Plaza to enhance the public plaza and provide visual interest.
