Group Health’s Hospice Program seeks volunteers in Snohomish County to offer support and services to patients and their caregivers.
Volunteers participate in many services. They may stay with a patient so a caregiver can take a break, visit with patients, read to patients, run errands or help with transportation to medical appointments.
Volunteers must be 21 years old or older as well as complete a screening and training program before performing services.
For more information, contact Karin Pierce, the Snohomish County regional volunteer coordinator, at 425-556-6372 or toll-free at 888-393-0890.
