Grammy Award nominee to appear in MLT concert Wednesday

Grammy Award nominee and contemporary Christian music artist Randy Stonehill will appear live in concert on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at Calvary Fellowship in Mountlake Terrace. Admission is free.

Stonehill is considered one of the pioneers of contemporary Christian music, writing and recording his first album in 1970. He has recorded more than 25 albums and collaborated on many others with artists including Amy Grant, Phil Keaggy and Larry Norman. Stonehill’s music has been described as folk/pop/rock laced with stories and humor.

The concert at Calvary Fellowship is one of 10 Stonehill had scheduled in Washington and Oregon during the first two weeks of September. Stonehill will be appearing at Calvary Chapel, 8330-212th St. S.W. in Edmonds, on Sunday, Sept. 15 during the church’s 10 a.m. worship service.
