If you buy your alcohol at Goodies on 212th you’re going to have to shop elsewhere for the next few days. The Washington State Liquor Control Board has suspended the sale of alcohol at Goodies for selling alcohol to a minor. Alcohol sales will be suspended from today, January 8th through the 11th.

wait… they sell to a minor and the punishment is just no liquor sales for 3 days? that’s it?
I wonder if it was reported or a liquor board sting.
Most likely this is just a first offense, and possibly even an oversight by the clerk. You can bet if they do it make it a habit the penalties will be worse.
I believe this was their first offense. Previous operations at Goodies have shown Goodies to be very good about not selling alcohol to minors, having foiled many stings in the past. They goofed this time, they’re feeling it. (no beer sales NFL playoff weekend?) I’m certain it won’t happen again.
