The Glacier Peak Grizzlies put on a clinic Wednesday night, running circles around Mountlake Terrace and defeated the Hawks 59-14 in Wesco League girls basketball action at Mountlake Terrace High School.

Paisley Johnson and Maya McFadden paced the Grizzlies with 14 points each; teammate Samantha Fatkin added 12 points for Glacier Peak.

Freshman Nohea Morrison led the Hawks with six points in a game that featured most of the second half played with a “mercy rule” running clock.

Terrace will hit the road for their next two tilts starting with a Friday, Jan. 8, matchup with the Shorecrest Scots. Tipoff at Shorecrest High School is slated for 7:15 p.m.
