Girls basketball: Hawks win fourth straight, 58-48 over Stanwood

The Mountlake Terrace High School girls basketball team pushed their current winning streak to four games with a 58-48 victory over the Stanwood Spartans Friday night in Stanwood.

The win keeps the Hawks tied for first place in the Wesco 3A South Conference with Shorecrest, a 62-49 victor over Everett on Friday. Both Terrace and the Scots have identical 6-1 league and 11-3 overall records.

It will be Mountlake Terrace’s turn to take on the powerful Everett Seagulls next, a Tuesday, Jan. 21 match-up at Mountlake Terrace High School. Tip-off is set for 7:15 p.m.
