Mountlake Terrace’s Samantha Romanowski lit up the scoreboard Wednesday night at Marysville-Getchell High School, scoring 27 points and leading the Hawks to a 62-40 win over the Chargers.
It was the 10th victory for the Hawks this season, fifth in Wesco League play, and keeps Terrace even with Shorecrest at the top of the Wesco 3A South Conference standings. The win also insures the team will have at the least a .500 record for the regular season.
The Hawks hit the road again on Friday night for a match-up with the Stanwood Spartans; tipoff at Stanwood High School is slated for 7:15 p.m.
