Terrace made the long drive to Oak Harbor Wednesday night in attempt to win the game that would put them as the number 6 seed in the playoffs. In typical fashion for the way this season has gone, Terrace was again inconsistent scoring only 4 points in the opening quarter and 5 in the third.
Terrace made a late game run fueled by the 3 point shooting of senior guard Mindy James. James went 4-5 from three to close the gap and eventually take the lead. Oak Harbor got the ball with 15 seconds left, down by two, and converted to tie the game with just over 3 seconds to play, while bringing the ball up court, Terrace was called for a traveling violation and Oak Harbor got the ball with 1.1 seconds on the clock. They inbounded the ball and made a toss up shot from 25′ to win the game 46-43. James ended with 16 points, Lotz 10 points 10 rebounds, Kristjanson 7 points 11 rebounds, Christman and Mitsui 4, Boxley 2.
